Job summary

Cobb Animal Clinic in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our hospital and support high-quality patient care in a collaborative team. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow with a supportive veterinary team.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year of experience; RVT credential is preferred but experienced Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply. Weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic.
• Strong animal handling, restraint, and patient-care skills.
• Experience with venipuncture, blood collection, and lab diagnostics.
• Ability to document patient histories, examinations, and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized and outpatient patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Safely restrain dogs and cats during examinations and treatment.
• Perform venipuncture, blood collection, and laboratory processing.
• Assist with radiology, patient monitoring, and anesthesia when needed.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical records and documentation.
• Support surgery and post-operative care; communicate with clients.
