Colorado State University’s Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (CSUVDL) in Fort Collins seeks an Administrative Professional to support grant management and project administration on a part-time basis (20 hours per week).

The role focuses on pursuing external funding opportunities, coordinating pre- and post-award activities, and ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes while maintaining strong data management and reporting.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management.
• Experience with grant-funded research projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue external funding opportunities to support CSU VDL.
• Manage pre-award and post-award phases, including proposal development and financial management.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Manage operational projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organize project plans and schedules and distribute information.
• Provide data management, objective assessment, and clear communication across projects.
