CSU Veterinary Health, part of the CSU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Fort Collins, seeks a Veterinary Clinical Pathologist for a part-time hourly role. The position emphasizes cytopathology, hematology, and related diagnostic duties with strong client communication and adherence to turnaround times.

The successful candidate will be board-certified or eligible by the ACVP, hold Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and be eligible for a Colorado veterinary license.

Qualifications

• DVM required and eligible for Colorado veterinary license.
• ACVP board certification or eligibility.
• Ability to read cytology caseload accurately (30–35 per day in an 8 hour period).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pathology service with focus on cytopathology.
• Interpret cytology, hematology, protein electrophoresis, immunofixation, biochemistry, urinalysis and coagulation results.
• Deliver accurate, timely veterinary diagnoses and maintain turnaround times.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders; participate in Quality Management System; troubleshoot issues.
