Job summary

Colorado State University is seeking a Clinical Pathology Medical Laboratory Professional for the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in Fort Collins, CO. This full-time, on-site role includes weekends and potential after-hours work based on caseload, with signing bonus/relocation options for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include independent laboratory testing across chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, and fluid analyses, ensuring timely, accurate results and QA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, medical technology, or related fields.
• Experience with clinical pathology diagnostic assays.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemistry analysis, CBC, urinalysis and fluid analyses.
• Ensure accurate reporting and meet turnaround times.
• Provide on-call and shift coverage as needed.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs and quality systems.
• Manage laboratory equipment and operations; deliver exceptional client services.
• Manage lab equipment and operations as assigned.
