The role combines patient care with client service, offering 2–3 days as a Veterinary Assistant and 1–2 days as CSR, with a pay rate of $15–$17/hour.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with patient restraint.
• Ability to obtain and document patient histories.
• Ability to explain the importance of preventatives to clients.
• A team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take on both clinical and client-service responsibilities.
• LVT students are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Discuss core vs. lifestyle vaccines with clients.
• Educate clients about preventatives and their importance.
• Perform venipuncture.
• Assist with treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Support doctors and technicians with patient care.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment.
• Assist clients with appointments and check-in/check-out.
• Communicate professionally with clients.
• Support the veterinary team with client needs and hospital flow.
