Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a part-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in West Kittanning, PA, working 3 days per week to deliver prescribed medical treatments and personal care under physician direction. You will collaborate with the PACT team to develop patient care plans for veterans.

Requirements include MSN and CRNP certification, VA credentialing, and active licensure in the U.S. The role emphasizes high-quality care and compliance with VA guidelines.

Qualifications

• MSN degree required and CRNP certification.
• 1 year clinical experience (3 years preferred) as CRNP in primary/ambulatory care; VA experience preferred.
• Licensed/credentialed in the state of employment; must have VA credentialing eligibility.
• Valid, unrestricted license in the U.S. or territory; VA contractual requirements.
• BLS certification; ACLS as required by VA contract; DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat veterans under supervision of a physician.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; notify patients and arrange follow-up.
• Counsel on medications, educate patients, and address mental health concerns.
• Document medical records within 24 hours of encounters and comply with VA guidelines.
