Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and MSN required.
• Certification by applicable professional organization.
• Minimum one-year clinical experience as CRNP; VA contract preferred.
• Must be credentialed and in good standing through the Veterans Health Administration (VA).
• Current, unrestricted license in the state of employment; U.S. territory eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Actively diagnoses and treats our veterans under the direction and responsibility of a supervising physician.
• Examines patient for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and assists in provision of continuity of care.
• Orders and performs diagnostic tests and interprets results, with follow-up care.
• Counsels patients on medications, education, mental health, and routine health maintenance.
• Completes documentation within 24 hours of each patient encounter; adheres to VA guidelines.
