Job summary

Cox is seeking a part-time Vehicle Data Entry Clerk in New Jersey. You will enter vehicle information into AS400 using a handheld device or relay data via headset to a colleague for data entry at the Auction.

Responsibilities include labeling, directing transporters, capturing vehicle images, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Prior data entry and basic computer skills are required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, OR less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.

Responsibilities

• Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer or provide information via headset to a co-worker for data entry for each vehicle received at the Auction.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry; flag 'no key' cars.
• Direct transporters to proper car drop zone and report transport damage as needed.
• Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt.
• Provide proper sale identification windshield code to the driver in the registration area.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes; perform other duties as assigned.
