Job summary

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division is seeking a part-time Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves up to 28 hours per week and non-benefitted status, with duties spanning tire repair, greasing, fueling, and daily servicing of city vehicles and heavy equipment.

Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience; steel-toed boots and uniforms are provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance including tire repair, greasing, lubricating, fuel truck deliveries, and daily servicing of City vehicles, automotive equipment, truck, and/or heavy construction equipment.
• Perform semi-skilled mechanical duties, including the general repair, maintenance, and safety inspection of gasoline, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment used by City departments.
