Job summary

City of Sioux Falls is seeking a Vehicle/Equipment Service Worker for the Public Works Department, Street/Fleet Division. This part-time, evening, non-benefitted role offers up to 28 hours per week and requires performing skilled maintenance on City vehicles and equipment, plus semi-skilled repairs and safety inspections.

Hours are Monday–Friday, evenings 5pm–10pm, with a flexible start time; steel-toed boots and uniforms are provided. Applicants should have relevant education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled service and maintenance on City vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct semi-skilled mechanical duties, including general repair, maintenance and safety inspections of gasoline, diesel, automotive, and heavy equipment.
