Job summary

The City of Sioux Falls, Facilities Management Division, is seeking a part-time Custodian to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in municipal buildings, up to 28 hours per week.

Ideal schedule is daytime, between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Law Enforcement Center (320 W 4th St). Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid Driver License and reliable transportation, and be able to pass the City’s background check.

Qualifications

• One year of custodial or facilities maintenance experience preferred.

Ideal hours for one daytime position will be to work up to 28 hours per week between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Law Enforcement Center (320 W 4th St).

Minimum Qualifications

Desired applicants should be at least 18.

Applicants should demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Applicants must have a current Driver License and reliable transportation.

One year of custodial or Facilities Maintenance related work experience is preferred.
