Job summary

Trinity Health Mount Carmel is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer for a part-time role in Ohio. You will perform echocardiography and vascular tests, report preliminary findings, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Minimum one year in cardiovascular imaging with ARDMS or CCI credentials preferred; high school is required with a degree in diagnostic sonography as a plus. BLS certification is required, with Mount Carmel offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School required; Associate or Bachelor in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
• Licensure: ARDMS RVT or RDCS OR CCI RCS or RVS OR board-eligible with cert within 12 months.
• Experience: At least 1 year in cardiovascular imaging; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiography and vascular diagnostic tests per policy and Accreditation guidelines.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort; assists with patient transport as needed.
• Obtains health history and documents data; ensures accuracy of reports prior to dispatch.
• Communicates pertinent patient data to team members; collaborates across departments.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment and participates in evaluation of new devices.
