Palm Point Behavioral Health is seeking a Part Time Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator in Titusville, FL. The UR Coordinator monitors documentation and utilization of services for inpatients and outpatients, coordinating third-party authorizations and posting data in hospital systems.

Responsibilities include reviewing admission appropriateness, continuing stay, and discharge planning, while supporting treatment teams with communication based on documentation and verbal exchanges.

Qualifications

Associate degree or bachelor's degree in related field required.
Minimum two years’ experience in health care case management or utilization review.

Responsibilities

Review clinical content of medical records and participate in treatment team meetings to gather data for insurance pre-certifications and continued authorization.
Input pre-certifications and continued stay reviews into Midas; verify insurance coverage and post patient payments in MS4.
Gathers clinical criteria, communicates criteria, and enters supporting data into computer systems; assists in other UR duties.
