Job summary

Palm Point Behavioral Health, affiliated with Universal Health Services, is recruiting for a Part Time Utilization Review (UR) Coordinator in Titusville, FL. This role monitors documentation, coordinates authorization for payors, and supports admission through discharge planning within inpatient and outpatient programs.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in social work, mental health or related field from accredited college or university.
Minimum of two years’ experience in health care case management or utilization review, psychiatric or mental health setting.
Current, valid state license (RN, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) preferred.

Responsibilities

Review medical records and participate in treatment team meetings to gather data for authorization with insurers.
Input pre-certifications and continued stay reviews into the case management system and coordinate follow-ups.
Assist in timely communication of clinical criteria and related documentation.
