Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or bachelor’s in social work/mental health or related field required.
- Minimum two years in health care case management or utilization review.
- Current, valid state license (RN, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review medical records and participate in treatment team meetings with staff to secure precertifications and authorizations.
- Input pre-certifications and continued stay reviews into Midas; verify insurance coverage monthly and post payments in MS4.
- Assist in gathering clinical criteria and communicating with external entities for appeals and retrospective reviews.
