Job summary

City of Chicago is seeking a Tactical Review Analyst in the Chicago Police Department, Office of Constitution Policing and Reform. The role focuses on reviewing use of force incidents to assess conformity with protocols and identify improvements.

You will draft advisements for trainings or policy changes and participate in annual in-service training. Position is part-time with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years in law enforcement or equivalent.
• Experience reviewing use-of-force incidents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews use-of-force incidents, firearm pointing, foot pursuits, stops, and warrants.
• Analyzes tactics, training, policies, and procedures against department protocols.
• Uses department software to view, flag, and retain video/audio from recording devices.
