Job summary

NextCare in West Valley, Phoenix, seeks a full-time clinician for our urgent care team. The role offers three 12-hour shifts weekly with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, and a competitive hourly compensation.

This position emphasizes autonomy, variety, and community impact, with strong clinical support, a collaborative team, and a schedule that provides more days off than days worked.

Qualifications

• Active AZ license for NP/PA is required.
• Board certification or eligibility as applicable.
• DEA license current or ability to obtain.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound care.
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document care in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks.
