Job summary

Truist in Wilmington, NC is seeking a motivated Teller to provide timely and accurate client transactions, educate customers on digital banking, and support branch sales with outbound outreach. You will handle cash, maintain records, and work with a team to deliver exceptional service while meeting compliance and risk controls.

Weekend or extended hours may be required; travel for temporary staffing is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years teller or cash handling experience.
• At least 6 months in client relationship building or sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn branch automation software and PC applications.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Weekend and/or extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support team sales through outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies; stay updated on procedures.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and resolve issues, with branch support as needed.
