Job summary

Truist in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker. You will welcome clients, handle transactions, and uncover banking needs while guiding them to appropriate Truist products and services.

You’ll promote digital banking and assist in outreach, supporting sales efforts and relationship growth in a busy retail branch. The role requires high school diploma and 2+ years in teller or client service, with weekend availability and some travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of teller or cash‑handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate staffing needs and weekends/extended hours.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience with transactions and needs discovery.
• Educate clients on digital banking and self‑service options.
• Support sales by outreach and identifying client opportunities.
• Promote Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) across Truist solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank routines and trainings.
• Balance compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
