Job summary

The Citi Plainview branch is seeking a Part-Time Universal Banker (20 hours) to assist in sales, service, and transactions for individual customers. You will work with the customer service team to foster relationships and support branch goals.

This entry-level role requires strong communication skills, 1–3 years in retail banking or related work, and a high school diploma. On-site position with salary range displayed, and opportunities to grow within Citi's consumer banking team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance and ethical conduct
