Job summary

Citigroup's Citi branch is seeking a Universal Banker for a part-time 20-hour schedule at the Morris Park/ Bronx branch. The role focuses on assisting with account openings, servicing customers, handling transactions, and identifying sales opportunities while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The candidate will participate in local events and campaigns to drive service delivery and customer loyalty. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in banking or customer service.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities at seminars and promotional events.
• Adhere to regulatory and risk controls to safeguard assets.
