Job summary

Truist in Maryland is seeking a Part Time Universal Banker to deliver timely client transactions and superior service. You will cross-train to support sales and IRM activities, focusing on outbound calls and guiding clients to digital banking options.

The role requires weekend/extended hours availability, basic PC skills, and the ability to travel for temporary staffing needs. Base pay is $22.00–$25.00 per hour with additional incentive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversation and efficient handling of transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking options to enhance service.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Stay informed of policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
