Job summary

Citi is seeking a Part-Time Universal Banker (26 hours) in the Nassau South Area, Massapequa Park, NY. The role supports sales and service via the branch, assists in basic account openings, and resolves service issues in coordination with the customer service team.

The position targets individuals with 1–3 years of retail banking experience and strong communication skills, focused on building customer loyalty and driving sales opportunities. Health and other Citi benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in retail banking or similar.
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
