Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Support in Orlando, FL. You will monitor and safeguard residents, staff and guests, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence at a shelter location to deter incidents.

Qualifications

• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the shelter location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location and report suspicious behavior or violations.
• Document daily activities and patrol observations and communicate with site staff and leadership.
