Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports with professional communication to campus personnel.
