Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Springfield, MA. You will provide guest services, conduct unarmed patrols, and support access control while maintaining a visible security presence at a dynamic venue.

You will help deter incidents, respond to situations professionally, and coordinate with site management. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, families, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the venue to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support crowd management during busy periods and events.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate information to leadership and site management.
