Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service while safeguarding clients across logistics and distribution sites, and you can build a flexible schedule using our shift platform.

You'll patrol, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents in a calm, proactive manner. The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and eligibility to work in the U.S.; driver license not always needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.
