Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, to perform patrols, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a government transportation location. The role offers a flexible day-time schedule and requires 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with shifts including DayTime and multiple afternoon/evening blocks.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual or unauthorized behavior, helping to deter trespassing, vandalism, and other prohibited activity.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
