Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX for part-time hours. The role includes patrolling transit facilities, responding to incidents, and controlling access to deter unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit properties, including stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative locations, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public agencies when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Carry authorized equipment and perform armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company procedures, and site-specific policies.
