As a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed), you will monitor access points, patrol facilities, and provide customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused location.

Shifts include Thur 04:00 PM–12:00 AM and Sun 12:00 AM–08:00 AM; hourly pay is $16.48. Requirements: HS diploma, 18+ years, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry requirements while maintaining professional communication and supporting a welcoming environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.]
