Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Reston, VA. You will patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location.

Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required, and a valid driver’s license is only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials as required, documenting entries, exits and observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
