Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Arlington, VA. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and enforce site policies to deter incidents while contributing to a welcoming, safe environment.

The role requires 3+ years of security or law enforcement experience (or a college degree), an active DoD Secret Clearance, and eligibility to work 21+ or 18+ depending on role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• 21+ years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while enforcing site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts.
