Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Courtesy Security Officer in Herndon, VA. You will provide customer service to residents and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and report observations, contributing to a safe, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
