Job summary

Allied Universal in Reston, VA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection. You will monitor and patrol the facility, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

The role includes Saturday and Sunday shifts, $21.00 per hour, and flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform. You’ll join a professional team focused on safety, reliability, and servicing our clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to provide reliable customer service in a security setting.
• Experience with unarmed patrols and access control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology location by following security procedures and emergency response.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices and common areas to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist visitors with directions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and urgent situations in a calm, professional manner and document observations.
• Complete shift communications and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site rules.
