Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in HERNDON, VA. You will patrol residential areas, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to residents and visitors. You will document observations and communicate with site leadership using tablet tools.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership.
