Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Real Estate Agency in Uniondale, NY. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, report incidents, and respond to emergencies following site procedures.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate property personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
