Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed) for a Bronx, NY location. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff, helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include incident response, routine patrols, and professional communication with property management. Minimum requirements include at least 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma. Schedule and shifts vary by site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out procedures and access-control practices at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate with property management.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and business partners.
