Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Real Estate Agency Control Access in Uniondale, NY for a part-time, unarmed role focused on access control and tenant/visitor support at a commercial real estate site.

Responsibilities include customer service, incident response, regular patrols, and accurate reporting. Minimum requirements include HS diploma and background checks; CPR/First Aid preferred and a valid state license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify hazards and maintenance concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and provide directions or assistance to support an orderly environment.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
