Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a corporate building patrol in New York, NY. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding to incidents with professionalism.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and support a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Pay rate is $19.06 per hour with a flexible part-time schedule.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and required follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
