Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Chicago, IL to safeguard clients across commercial real estate and other locations. You will provide customer service, monitor access, perform patrols, and respond to security-related concerns while maintaining professional and clear communication.

The role offers a flexible day schedule and involves shift work. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with background checks and drug screening per regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the property and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations and security activities in reports/logs.
