Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Markham, IL to provide reliable security coverage with fixed shifts and optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

The role offers part-time hours, a six-month anchor commitment to a designated site, and opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts across sites. Pay rate is $19.75 per hour, with a Friday-Saturday schedule and potential for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access activity and visitor movement in accordance with site-specific requirements, and report unauthorized access attempts or security-related concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
