Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Chicago, IL. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and a pay rate of $25.18 per hour.

Schedule includes day shifts with anchor shifts for reliability. Responsibilities cover security procedures, incident response, and armed patrols, with requirements including a high school diploma and a concealed carry permit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Concealed carry weapons permit required for armed roles.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Background checks required.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and stakeholders by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and incidents calmly and professionally; notify site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and report suspicious activity.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with policies governing armed duties.
