Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Houston, TX. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will work a designated site with a six-month anchor commitment, providing customer service to visitors and employees, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and completing reports.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs accurately and promptly.
