Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in New York, NY to provide dependable security services at a corporate building. This role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $24.05 - $25.05 per hour, with a Saturday night shift from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and routine patrols within a commercial office setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
