The position emphasizes customer service, access control, and incident response within a transit headquarters site. Pay rate ranges from $17.87 to $18.87 per hour, with a Saturday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM shift.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established government facility procedures, documenting observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
