Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation to provide reliable, flexible coverage at an assigned site. You will perform fixed shifts, conduct regular patrols of buildings and outdoor spaces, monitor entry points, and uphold a professional, safe environment for visitors and staff.

This part‑time role offers daytime hours with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, a pay rate of $16.38 per hour, and

Qualifications

• Six months security-related experience or more.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government site.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate responders.
• Prepare clear activity reports and logs.
