Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Concord, MA. You will perform routine rounds in healthcare settings, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and provide courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Position offers flexible day/evening shifts, competitive pay of $23.00 per hour, and opportunities for training, advancement, and access to exclusive shift-claim tools.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to site-specific access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
