Qualifications

• Six months of security-related experience is required or preferred.
• Customer service experience is beneficial for interacting with clients and visitors.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city security license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and important concerns in a calm, professional manner and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.

Skills
