Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Columbus, OH to monitor and protect healthcare locations, engage with patients and staff, and maintain a welcoming environment. You’ll use a computer or tablet to document activity and will contribute to a safe, secure campus through vigilant patrols and responsive incident handling.

Position offers a flexible, part-time schedule with weekend night shifts.

Qualifications

• Provides customer service to patients, visitors, and staff following site policies and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and follow emergency response procedures calmly and professionally.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and document activity using computer or tablet technology.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities to identify hazards and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and provide assistance as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities and communicate information to relevant personnel.
