Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Columbus, OH to monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and document observations using computer or tablet systems. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime and night shifts as listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence to deter unauthorized access.
